Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s newest subsidiary establishes leadership team and creates advisory board of veterinary and animal health professionals.
This week, Medical Marijuana, Inc. portfolio company Phyto Animal Health publicly announced its CEO and Veterinary Advisory Board, revealing the leadership team that will be guiding the company as it establishes its market share in the animal health industry and grows its line of pet specific hemp products.
Founder and CEO Ian Quinn
The CEO of Phyto Animal Health is Ian Quinn. The story of Phyto Animal Health starts with Quinn and his service dog Dante. After volunteering at Southern California VA housing program, Quinn learned first hand the benefits CBD was having on the veterans he met and set about finding a way to provide those same effects for Dante by partnering with veterinarians and animal health specialists. Amazed by the results CBD has had for Dante, Quinn created Phyto Animal Health to bring these same benefits to pets and livestock everywhere.
Quinn brings nearly a decade of experience in the animal health industry. In his previous role at a nationally recognized pet medical device company, Quinn supported veterinarians, veterinary colleges, and zoos linked who worked with the company.
As a senior executive in his last position, Quinn oversaw new business development, market analysis, and the creation of sales objectives, while maintaining cross-market communication, networking with medical professionals, and building and managing sales and marketing teams.
Quinn seeks to set Phyto Animal Health apart from similar companies by anchoring product development in science. To that end, Phyto Animal Health announced their Veterinary Advisory Board.

Phyto Animal Health
Phyto Animal Health was launched with the mission to provide the beneficial effects of hemp to pet and livestock owners, starting with a line of CBD oil products for pets and hemp litter and bedding designed specifically for animals. Phyto Animal Health debuts with a trio of products targeted to animals like cats, dogs, and horses with the goal of introducing additional products in the future.
Pet Vitality™ is an all-natural CBD hemp oil product that combines decarboxylated hemp oil with medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil derived from organic coconut oil. Pet Vitality™ contains 100 mg of CBD in the 1 oz. bottle or 500 mg of CBD in the 2 oz. The Pet Vitality™ daily CBD oil product is best for use for cats and dogs.
Similar to Pet Vitality™, Vitality-X™ combines CBD isolate with MCT oil to create a daily use CBD routine. Vitality-X™ is put through an extra filtration process to remove plant materials, waxes, and all but the smallest amounts of cannabinoids other than CBD. Each 4 oz. bottle of Vitality-X™ contains 1000 mg of CBD and can be used by cat, dog, and horse owners looking to avoid concerns over THC.
lFinally, Phyto Animal Health offers an all-natural animal Hemp Bedding and Litter. Twice as absorbent as straw or wood shavings, Phyto Animal Health Hemp Bedding and Litter helps reduce waste and requires less storage, and lowers labor costs on farms. The company’s hemp bedding and litter is chemical-free and produces less dust than similar animal products made from less renewable sources. This all-natural animal bedding and litter is perfect for animals of all sizes, from your pets at home to larger livestock.
