Two Las Vegas news stations checked in to The Marijuana Business Conference and Exposition, where Medical Marijuana, Inc. attended and spoke on the future of the hemp industry.
A pair of Las Vegas news publications recently spotlighted The Marijuana Business Conference and Exposition, considered the world’s largest cannabis trade show, taking place November 15-17, 2017, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
FOX 5 News KVVU and CBS 8 News Now both covered the 4-day conference, which drew 18,000 pre-registered vendors, buyers, and others associated with the industry. CBS 8 News Now specifically spotlighted Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s presence at the event and featured CEO Dr. Stuart Titus within their coverage.

Dr. Titus spoke on two panels during the conference. In the first, he participated in the “International Developments & Opportunities” panel and discussed the current state of international developments related to hemp. In the second, Dr. Titus shared his expertise at the interactive “Q&A with Hemp Experts” panel, answering questions from those interested in the future of the global hemp industry.
CBS 8 News Now interviewed Dr. Titus in their news article and video segment covering the conference. He spoke on the banking and payroll challenges facing companies in the industry and shared the current legal complexities that are forcing businesses to be creative.
Growing Marijuana Industry
While still in its infancy, CBS 8 News Now reported, the nation’s cannabis industry is already estimated to be worth $5 billion to $6 billion and is expected to continue growing significantly in the next few years.
According to FOX 5 News KVVU’s report, this year’s conference was unique in that, besides the professionals and investors who normally attend the conference, it attracted people across the spectrum who were interested in learning how to participate in the billion-dollar market.
