Titus, PhD. “Their permits signify a new chapter in world history and an epic change in Mexico’s cannabis laws. All others in Mexico wishing to access CBD hemp oil may now do so, according to the government health agency’s statement issued today.”
Mexico’s Health Department, Cofepris, officially approved the first permits in Mexico’s history to allow cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil to be legally imported. Both permits have been granted to two young girls suffering from epilepsy, Alina and Maria Paula.
A third permit was issued late last year for Grace Elizalde and her family, who banded together to form the Por Grace Por Todos Foundation and spread the word that CBD hemp oil provided Grace peace from her severe epilepsy. In fact, it’s directly because of the Por Grace Por Todos Foundation that Alina and Maria Paula now have access to import CBD hemp oil from HempMeds® Mexico.
Alina’s father, Abelardo, was present at Cofepris today to receive the authorization permit himself. Among those covering this historic moment for Mexico, and Abelardo’s success, were Televisa, TV Azteca, Milenio TV, CNN Mexico, and the Associated Press.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”28286″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”28287″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”28288″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]The news has also garnered significant interest from American press outlets, with Reuters publishing more details about the story yesterday.
The cannabis movement has been progressing quickly in Mexico, and it kicked off with a series of congressional hearings on Monday, January 25. HempMeds® Mexico, alongside our partner the Por Grace Por Todos Foundation, rallied at the event to ensure Mexican families were informed that CBD hemp oil could dramatically impact their lives like it had hers.
At HempMeds® Mexico, we’re beyond excited to be part of this movement. Our Gold Label Real Scientific Hemp Oil-X™ (RSHO-X™) is the first product allowed into the country to help these two young girls and future families who are able to secure permits.
Make sure you do your part in spreading the word about Mexico’s authorization efforts by supporting the families who have already received authorization and those still looking for it.
