Healthcare professionals, investors, dispensary owners, lawyers, producers and enthusiasts were presented with the industry\u2019s latest information, medical findings, products, resources and tools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CWCBExpo, which ran from September 16-18 and was sponsored by the International Cannabis Association (ICA), featured an education program with in-depth workshops covering cannabis careers, cannabis business certifications, an investor boot camp and pre-certifications for doctors and nurse practitioners. The raucous exhibit floor was filled with both new suppliers showcasing cutting-edge products and industry old timers like NORML and the Marijuana Policy Project. Industry leaders and keynote speakers, including Grammy and Academy Award winner Melissa Etheridge and entrepreneur George Zimmer, offered insight on what\u2019s next for the industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taking to the podium at one point was our own <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/medicalmarijuanainc.com\/bio\/stuart-w-titus-phd\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Stuart Titus<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Medical Marijuana, Inc.&#8217;s President and CEO, who presented on &#8220;<\/span><b>Industrial Hemp and Botanical CBD:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Many Benefits for Mankind<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&#8221; A medical marijuana patient himself, Dr. Titus covered the latest medical discoveries related to hemp and cannabidiol, including how cannabinoids found in cannabis interact with the endocannabinoid system of the body and offer safe, therapeutic medicinal benefits. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watch Stuart\u2019s presentation below.
