SAN DIEGO<\/span>,\u00a0Aug. 21, 2017<\/span>\u00a0—\u00a0Medical Marijuana, Inc.<\/a>\u00a0(MJNA), the first publicly traded cannabis company in\u00a0the United States<\/span>, today announced that the\u00a0State of Mexico’s<\/span>\u00a0government has purchased the company’s\u00a0Real Scientific Hemp Oil-X\u2122 (RSHO-X\u2122)<\/a>\u00a0CBD hemp oil products from its subsidiary\u00a0HempMeds Mexico\u00ae<\/a>\u00a0to treat 11 of its citizens suffering from varying indications including Refractory Epilepsy and Lennox Gastaut-Syndrome. The\u00a0State of Mexico’s<\/span>\u00a0Governor\u00a0Eruviel Avila<\/span>\u00a0distributed HempMeds Mexico’s flagship product RSHO-X\u2122, a CBD hemp oil with zero THC, to the patients at the inauguration of a new clinic located in\u00a0Ecatepec<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0August 17th<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Dr.\u00a0Saul Garza Morales, pediatric researcher and neurologist in\u00a0Mexico,\u00a0recently shared the positive results of a recent study he conducted on the effects of Medical Marijuana, RSHO-X\u2122 product in treating children with severe epilepsy, in which 86 percent of the 29 patients he studied experienced statistically significant (greater than 50%) reduction in motor seizures. Seventeen percent of the children were fully seizure free for a 4-month period.<\/p>\n
