President and CEO <\/span>Dr. Stuart Titus<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Titus, who has a background in both finance\u00a0and physiotherapy, was drawn to the cannabis industry after he saw the benefits the therapeutic use of cannabinoids could provide and the vast growth potential in the industry.<\/p>\n “I grew up in a conservative neighborhood on Long Island, about an hour from New York, and at first, friends and family were very surprised,” Dr. Titus revealed to Valor. “But when I showed them studies and research on the potential benefits of cannabinoids, the attitude has changed.”<\/p>\n According to the article, the global legal recreational and medical cannabis market was estimated at $14.3 billion last year. The industry will continue to grow at an average rate of 21.1 percent in coming years, hitting $63.5 billion by 2024.
