With the Thanksgiving holiday here, Medical Marijuana, Inc. would like to pause and reflect on all that we have to be grateful for this year.

Thanks to you, it has been a banner year, and thanks to the efforts of our amazing team, we’ve made incredible strides in bringing access to CBD to more people across the globe.

This also allowed MJNA’s diversified portfolio to experience unprecedented growth and success, shattering both monthly and daily sales records in this year’s third quarter. To better meet your demands as you continuously discover the natural benefits of daily CBD, we launched our Subscribe & Save Program to automatically deliver CBD products at a 20% discount.

Without you, this would not have been possible.

Additionally, your support allowed wholly-owned subsidiary Kannaway®, the first direct marketing company in the hemp space, to have its largest-ever single month of revenue in July 2017 – and then again in August. Under the leadership of CEO Blake Schroeder, Kannaway® experienced 18 straight months of growth, topped off with a 7-day luxury cruise to the Mexican Riviera to celebrate more than 100 of its top brand ambassadors.

Your support even had an impact across international borders in this regard. HempMeds® Mexico, our distribution branch in the country, also experienced its largest month of revenue in its history in August.

In a monumental moment for CBD, our very own Raul Elizalde, President of MJNA subsidiary HempMeds® Mexico, was blessed with the opportunity to address the United Nations and the World Health Organization (WHO) in November to share his knowledge on CBD.

Raul urged the WHO’s Expert Committee on Drug Dependence (ECDD) to internationally classify the compound as a non-psychoactive nutritional supplement. Because you stepped up and shared with us your own personal CBD stories, Raul could share these testimonials with the WHO committee. Together, your efforts and Raul’s speech may have significantly influenced the special committee’s decision, which when announced later this year (per the WHO), will greatly impact who has legal access to CBD worldwide.

Your growing support and knowledge of cannabinoids allowed the MJNA family to continue spreading the message of the benefits of these compounds for all of us. We could host, attend, and sponsor cannabis-focused events around the world and we’re thankful for every chance to spread awareness of CBD hemp oil and its benefits.

Moreover, your patronage and readership gave MJNA the opportunity to sponsor and exhibit our award-winning line of CBD oil products at this year’s ExpoWeed Conference, the largest cannabis conference in Mexico. We also were able to sign on as a premiere event sponsor for the Americans for Safe Access (ASA) Unity Conference 2017, where several members of our organization spoke on educational panels and actively lobbied lawmakers on cannabis reform.

MJNA distribution company HempMeds® travelled to Carrollton, Texas to sponsor the Run4Hope to raise $25,000 for medical research into neurological conditions and honor the memory of Harper Howard.

Again, your impact was felt internationally with further community outreach and education efforts.

MJNA portfolio company HempMeds® Brasil was able to do the following:

Your support even helped us spread a message that could impact the NFL. Former three-time NFL Pro-Bowler Nick Lowery came on this year as spokesman for MJNA’s portfolio company, Kannalife™ Sciences, and appeared on many national and local media outlets, spreading word of the efforts of the company to develop a clinically approved cannabinoid treatment for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

In this season of gratitude, we want to first express our sincerest appreciation to you, our readers and followers who have helped us grow over this year. Thousands of you are following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, and are making our educational, company, and industry news content a part of your every day.

MJNA is thankful for its amazing team of employees, which grew by leaps and bounds to over 100 employees this year to keep pace with our growing business. A couple of key executive hires were made to fuel expansion into international markets. We brought in four new members of our marketing team, including Chief Marketing Officer Stephen Jones. We also welcomed Justin Stephens as Director of Member Support to assist Kannaway®’s thousands of new brand ambassadors.

This summer we also celebrated the opening a new local office for HempMeds® Mexico in Monterrey, and just recently we began adding to our office and tripling our warehouse space in San Diego.

Your assistance in helping us advocate for more cannabis access to everyone allowed MJNA to remodel our website this year; the design was revamped to make room for new services. Your interest allowed us to fine-tune our website, which now features a new channel for investors as well as expanded cannabis news and education pages to serve as a home for all things cannabis.

We’re thankful that, again this year, access to legal cannabis continued expanding across the United States and throughout the world. In the U.S., West Virginia became the 29th state to legalize cannabis for medical purposes.

In Mexico, low-THC medical marijuana was also legalized, a momentous occasion for the people of Mexico and our own Raul Elizalde, who was the first to sue the government so that his daughter Grace could legally access and use CBD therapeutically. HempMeds® Mexico also became the first company ever to have a cannabis-based product subsidized by a government in Mexico.

In Brazil, where the government this year approved HempMeds® Brasil’s Real Scientific Hemp Oil™ (RSHO™) patients with autism, multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer’s disease, a Federal Court ruled that the state of Santa Catarina must provide free CBD treatments to a merchant with epilepsy.

Again, thank you.

Last but certainly not least, MJNA is thankful for our incredible family of employees. We couldn’t have made the enormous strides we did this year without the amazing work of our warehouse staff, salespeople, customer service reps, product specialists, writers, photographers, designers, and executives, who come to work everyday passionate to share CBD and its natural wellness properties with the world.

Medical Marijuana, Inc. wishes you, our consumers and followers, a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday. We are thankful for the chance to be your source for CBD and appreciate your business every day.

Also, HempMeds® Mexico was able to be a headline sponsor of this year’s VII World Congress in Anti-aging Medicine in Mexico City, where it provided presentations by some of the most notable names in cannabis medicine.
