Executive Raul Elizalde.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Raul Addresses WHO Committee about CBD at United Nations<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Raul, President of Medical Marijuana, Inc. subsidiary HempMeds\u00ae Mexico, was<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/medicalmarijuanainc.com\/raul-elizalde-puts-cbd-worlds-stage-meeting\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">invited to speak about CBD<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the WHO\u2019s Thirty-Ninth meeting of the Expert Committee on Drug Dependence in Geneva, Switzerland in November. The ECDD was reevaluating its international regulations of 16 substances, including CBD, a cannabis-derived, non-psychoactive compound that interacts with our naturally occurring systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On behalf of MJNA\u2019s family of companies, Raul spoke to the ECDD about the benefits of CBD and encouraged the special committee to classify the non-psychoactive compound as a nutritional supplement and food rather than a drug.
