CBD continues to become a household term as more and more people are becoming aware of its amazing potential as a daily supplement. Keep reading to get the biggest news stories from the Medical Marijuana, Inc. family of companies. <\/span><\/p>\n Popular daytime television program <\/span>Today<\/span><\/a> ran a segment this week looking at the booming cannabis industry, including a special look at CBD. Medical Marijuana, Inc.\u2019s Cibaderm CBD-infused shampoo was included in Today\u2019s segment alongside other mainstream CBD products. <\/span><\/p>\n The segment also included an interview with Dr. Roshini Raj and featured a number of products that contained either CBD, THC, or a combination of both. Dr. Raj discussed the research results that have been published so far about CBD. <\/span><\/p>\n Kannalife\u2122 Sciences announced this past week that it had merged with TYG Solutions Corp through a share exchange transaction, making it a publicly-traded company.<\/span><\/p>\n News of this share exchange was picked up by Philadelphia\u2019s <\/span>The Inquirer \u2013 Daily News<\/span><\/a>. According to the article, \u201cThe products the company creates, synthetic cannabinoids including the molecule CBD, are <\/span>used in research at Temple University<\/span><\/a> and other schools for the study of brain injuries, including chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The company, a spokesman said, does not touch the marijuana plant.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhile we certainly don’t consider ourselves an ‘anything cannabis’ company, we haven’t lost sight of the fact that Kannalife was among a select few companies in the pharmaceutical space to approach drug development in cannabinoid therapeutics,\u201d said Kannalife CEO Dean Petkanas. <\/span><\/p>\n This news was also picked up by the <\/span>Philadelphia Business Journal<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n Kannalife\u2122 Sciences spokesperson and former NFL star Nick Lowery stopped by the <\/span>Tiki and Tierney<\/span><\/a> show on CBS Sports Radio to talk football and to promote the research being completed by Kannalife\u2122 into the potential to create a synthetic cannabinoid treatment option for CTE, opioid addiction, and other conditions. <\/span><\/p>\nToday Features Products from Medical Marijuana, Inc.<\/span><\/h2>\n
