In 2017, Medical Marijuana, Inc. international subsidiary HempMeds\u00ae Mexico became the first company to have a cannabis-based product, RSHO-X\u2122, subsidized by a government in Mexico.<\/span><\/p>\n Having one of our company\u2019s products subsidized in Mexico is an important step towards normalization of cannabis treatments as the country establishes its new policies following Mexico\u2019s legalization of medical cannabis.<\/span><\/p>\n HempMeds\u00ae Mexico reached this milestone in August of 2017, just over a year after the company shipped its unique THC-free hemp oil products to Mexico for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n The State of Mexico\u2019s government purchased RSHO-X\u2122 from HempMeds Mexico\u00ae to treat 11 of its citizens who are suffering from varying indications including refractory\u00a0<\/span>epilepsy<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome<\/span><\/a>. This is the first time a government in Mexico has purchased CBD products for its citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n Eruviel Avila, the State of Mexico\u2019s Governor, distributed the RSHO-X\u2122products purchased by the state to the 11 patients at the inauguration of a new clinic located in the city of Ecatepec on August 17, 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n News of the government\u2019s purchase of RSHO-X\u2122 for patients in the region comes shortly after the company\u00a0<\/span>cut the ribbon on its first home office<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in the country in the town of Monterrey.
