As a pioneer in the CBD hemp oil space, Medical Marijuana, Inc. has had to build many of its practices and procedures from scratch, from choosing the right hemp cultivar to grow to determining the best ingredients to include in the final products. There was no well worn path in front of us to follow, so we made our own.<\/p>\n

THERE WAS NO PATH IN FRONT OF US TO FOLLOW IN THIS INDUSTRY, SO WE MADE OUR OWN. THIS INCLUDED CREATING A STANDARDIZED TESTING SYSTEM.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This included creating a standardized testing system and discovering the best labs to test our hemp oil. Demanding safety and consistency, Medical Marijuana, Inc. was the first cannabis company to create strict quality standards through the creation of our own Triple Lab Tested\u00ae process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Medical Marijuana, Inc.\u2019s hemp is first tested by the cultivar periodically during the growing season and again after the harvest. In addition to establishing optimal cannabinoid content of our hemp oil, it ensures there are no chemicals, heavy metals, or other potential contaminants that could end up in our products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Although the safety of ingredients in foods and health products is important, it is even more necessary when dealing with cannabis plants, which are effective bioaccumulators, meaning they can pull contaminants from the soil in which they are grown. Even though we cultivate our hemp free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, we take the time to assure the safety of our products by checking for any possible residual contaminants.<\/p>\n

After our hemp oil is imported into the U.S., a sample from each batch is then sent to testing labs like\u00a0<\/span>Pro Verde Laboratories<\/a>, an ISO\/IEC 17025:2005 accredited testing lab in Massachusetts that specializes in the cannabis space. These labs test our hemp oil for the concentration of cannabinoids, including CBD, CBDa, CBG, THC, and over a half dozen others. The labs also tests for mold, mildew, fungus, yeast, E.coli, Salmonella, Mycotoxins, heavy metals, and residual solvents to protect the end user from any contamination.<\/p>\n

Finally, our CBD hemp oil is sent to our formulator, which is certified as using Good Manufacturing Practices for foods and supplements, ensuring consistently produced and quality controlled final products. Here, the oil is once again tested before manufacturing starts to protect our products from unwanted contamination and to verify potency. After manufacturing of the final product, our hemp oil products are batch tested final time to assure optimal safety standards in every product.<\/p>\n
